The FRIENDS of  Western Watauga Branch Library is a separate group from the Watauga County Public Library's Friends group. Both groups are non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting the work of the Watauga County Library System. Friends work to promote awareness of library resources, raise funds for books and special programming, and advocate on behalf of library interests.

 Friends Raffle Basket Fundraiser- 7 baskets- 7 winners- Drawing will be held December 17th ! Winner need not be present to win!-  Tickets can be picked up at Western Watauga Branch Library !  1 = $2.00 or 3 for $5.00. Baskets are valued between $200.00 and $450.00-  Basket themes are Back to Nature; Outside Movie Night; Handcrafted Treasures; Clean Up your Act; Deck the Halls; Pamper Yourself; and Falling for Autumn!
